I can now say that the wedding planning process has officially began and I am super excited. First off i would like to make it clear haha that I DID NOT SAY YES TO THE DRESS. These posts will consist of some of my favorite designers as well as bridal salons throughout my search until i do find The Dress.
Throughout the journey of planning I will be sharing many posts and tips for certain things such as looking for the perfect dress, sample sales, trunk shows, vendors and my favorite destination wedding planning tips ! Yes. We have decided to have our wedding on the other side of the world - in Greece. I am definitely not the typical bride, dress shopping to me is very important and I want to enjoy going to bridal salons and exploring different options. However, I thought saying "Yes to the dress" is a very easy process which now I am starting to realize that it is good I am starting this search now versus half year before the wedding. Over the weekend I went into Lovella Bridal salon after finding out last minute that they will be having a sample sale for many gowns up to 70% off ! What a deal , right ? Ladies, make sure to find your favorite designers and visit their websites to see if the salons that carry them will be having sample sales ! As exciting the sale was I did not find the one. I did snap a few photos of one of my favorite designers Berta Bridal to share with all of you. Sample sales start early, I highly recommend coming 2 hours before, finding a coffee shop and sitting across the salon to feel out the line. I waited for about an hour until there was 5-6 brides lined up and walked over to stand in line for just another hour ! Sale was great, many brides that walked out said Yes to the dress, so if there is a dream dress you have been dreaming of, visit their websites, call salons && ask for their sample sale dates ! It might turn your dream into a reality.
