This year was my first time being a part of New York Fashion Week craziness and I already cannot wait for next year! It was everything I expected and more.
As much as I love fashion and traveling I was not aware of what I was getting myself into by agreeing to join New York Fashion Week wagon. Packing for NYFW for me sure wasn't easy.. let's just say I am your typical California girl - always rocking sneakers with dresses, wearing white against all the rules and overall laid back style. Stepping into a world full of edgy looks in NYC was new to me and definitely made me struggle when it came to picking out outfits.
I tried not to overbook myself for all the events so I would let myself enjoy it more and not run around town like a crazy person. Every hour of the day had something going on - whether it's a blogger brunch, showroom, event or a fashion show. I definitely had very high expectations for NYFW and they sure were exceeded. Every fashion show was killer, events were over the top and fashion was in the air.
Some cool events I got to be a part of: Alexander Wang x Adidas Fashion show with an amazing after party, Lulu's influencer event, Sole Society x Shop Style happy hour, Nylon magazine event, Bollard and a few fashion shows at Spring Studios. Would I do it all over again? Absolutely.
