Acai craze

Latest craze in Los Angeles - city that is all about a healthy lifestyle has been acai bowls and i might just join that craze as well. In my opinion everything taste better out of a bowl, especially when all of your favorite superfood ingredients are all in one bowl.
Acai bowl is great for breakfast and is extremely easy to make. 

Why add acai to your diet?
  1. Contains anti ageing properties
  2. Naturally boosts up your energy levels
  3. Improves blood circulation 
  4. Advances weight loss 





Ingredients:
  • 2 packs of frozen acai
  • 1 banana
  • Coconut drizzle
  • Nuts
  • 1 tbl spoon of honey
  • 2 oz of almond milk
  • 3 tbl spoons of brown sugar
Depending on what instructions say on your acai package, you might need a blender. 


Preparation:

  1. Pay attention to what instructions of acai preparation the package has once you remove it out of the freezer.
  2. Blend acai, honey and almond milk together for a few minutes. Do not blend for too long, acai bowl is supposed to be a thick blend not a soup. 
  3. Top with sliced banana, nuts, coconut and brown sugar. You are more than welcome to add a bigger variety of fruit, i wanted to keep it simple and healthy. I would rather add more brown sugar to make it sweeter than fruit. But that is just my sweet tooth talking :).
