Summer bodies are made in the winter !

First off create a playlist that only has fast beat songs, even if you usually do not listen to that kind of music. You will not want to work out if you do not have a fast beat ringing into your ears, the beat that will make you want to move to it ! 

If it is beautiful out, use it to your advantage. I personally do not see a point in paying for the gym. Go to your local store that sells work out equipment, get 2 weights of 5 pounds and a yoga ball to use for sit ups. 


Do not push yourself more than you can handle. 
  • Begin your work out by stretching for 5 minutes. (Everyone has their own technique of stretching that works for their bodies). 
  • Now that you are warmed up, get your playlist ready and go for a run of 30 minutes, with a 2 minute break every 10 minutes holding 5 pound weights in each hand. It might be a little uncomfortable in the beginning, but it is a great way to work out arm muscles without starting to look masculine. You want to look lean, but yet fit. 
  • Take a 15 minute break. 
  • Once you have catched your breath, grab the yoga ball and do 15 sit ups while siting on it without rolling around, it is all about balance, which will also help your posture. It is extremely hard in the beginning, but in my opinion this work out is the fastest way to get abs. Do not cheat. All the way down and all the way up, 20 times. 
  • Rest up you are all done with your one day work out ! However, if  you are want to keep going and push yourself more, i recommend using the yoga ball and doing 10 push ups. 
Repeat this work out 2-3 times a week and you will have a summer ready body ! -xo
