Seychelles. Diary 1

,If you are following me on Instagram and other social media you probably saw me flooding the newsfeed every day with my photos from Seychelles. As hard as i tried to hold off and share most of the photos on the blog without giving away too much on Instagram, it was very hard. The place is absolutely beautiful and it is tough not to want to post everything right away.

Abu Dhabi. Day 2

As promised here is Part 2 of Abu Dhabi ! I am so happy we did so much within such a limited amount of time. If you are planning a trip there i highly recommend staying for at least three days and then driving down to Dubai for another few days.
Keep in mind everything in Abu Dhabi opens at 10am, does not matter whether it is a store or a Restaurant. With that being said make sure you pick a hotel you know you will enjoy as you will be spending quite a good amount of time there. As i have mentioned in the previous post, Rosewood is a great hotel that has a great spa, pool and a lounge. There is also a local mall and a variety of Restaurants just a few minutes walking distance from the hotel.

Abu Dhabi. Day 1

Hello everyone ! We are approaching 2016 so quickly, it definitely makes me think back about how amazing this year has been. So many great things have happened in my life, I could only imagine next year will be better or just as good. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw posts (@skynaite) from a pit stop I made in Abu Dhabi before heading to Seychelles. Even though we were only there for 2 days we visited many great places that I would like to share with all of you.

Engagement story.

11.25.2015

Beginning of it all…

A few years ago we met through a mutual friend, the minute he walked in through the door it was love at first sight. I never believed or knew what people actually meant when they said "When you know, you know", but at that moment I knew. The minute I saw him, before we even exchanged a "hello" i texted my mom saying I just met my future husband.

San Diego.

hehe yes. buzzed on coffee :p
Me and my boyfriend decided to head up to San Diego for a little getaway last month (I know this post is waaay overdue). I was browsing around the entire night before looking up cute places that we could stop at for a short date day.

Red Rock City.

This previous weekend i not only got to see the beautiful Red Rock City aka Sedona, AZ but i got to attend one of the most beautiful weddings of my friend. We left early on Saturday morning and left Sunday noon…yes not even 48 hours in that paradise !
L'auberge was the hotel where the ceremony took place, the views all around consisted of beautiful red rock mountains and greenery. If some of you ladies are looking into venues and are considering Arizona as a wedding destination, i highly recommend checking that hotel out. Needless to say Sedona will leave you speechless, these photos i snapped during our trip will speak for themselves.

Mali-boo.

Yesss as we are approaching Halloween and now are finally in October Mali-boo just seemed like an appropriate caption for this post. As you have probably noticed i am all about exploring new beaches && laying out.
Living only 10 minutes away from Santa Monica seems like a dream come true, but i am constantly looking for new beautiful beaches to spend a day at. One of my top favorites besides Laguna Beach is no doubt El Matador. It is somewhat private, hidden gem of Malibu which might seem like quite a drive, but it is worth it all. As you approach the beach you have to walk down the cliff, which gives you breath taking views of Malibu and peaceful ocean. Once you get to the beach there is many rocks that are almost as tall as the cliffs that have caves that have been caved out by the ocean. Being at El Matador really makes you appreciate mother nature.

Weekend Escape.

Moving to California from Chicago is definitely the best decision i have ever made, it honestly is like living the dream. Not only you always have the best weather, but you can drive an hour away to Palm Springs, Laguna Beach or Malibu and it feels like a little getaway. I always get asked which beach is my favorite, which is the reason i wanted to snap some photos of it to share with you.
My go to beach in California is definitely Aliso Beach located in Laguna, it honestly is heaven on earth. It is a little bit of a drive after the main beaches of Laguna but it is a little bit excluded which makes it not as crowded as others. Aliso is surrounded by beautiful mountains and rocks to walk around on (when life guard is not around of course haha). If you are looking for a quick getaway that takes no planning, Laguna is a great place for a beach day and a date night afterwards at The Deck that is located right on the ocean.

Palm Springs . Part 2

As promised part two on Palm springs ! I think i got almost everything covered as far as the hotel goes, about all the fun outdoor games and hammocks and different hang out spots it offers in the first post. So i just wanted to share more photos from the trip on this one, so you can get a better idea on how beautiful the hotel actually is.
I am surprised it is considered as a hotel, since it has so much land and is as spread out as it is, they might as well just change it into a resort ! Because believe me it sure feels like  one when you are there.

Palm Springs . Part 1

Oh Mondays… I definitely have a love/hate relationship with this day especially after a weekend's getaway. Considering that i have lived in California for 5 years now i cannot believe i have only been to Palm Springs twice ! It is such a close and a beautiful ride from Los Angeles to Palm Springs that i am definitely going to try and make this happen more often.
Last time i went we stayed at Viceroy, which now i am hearing has been bought out and is called Avalon. Of course if you have been to Palm Springs you know the amount of hotels is very limited there. Instead of going back to "Viceroy aka Avalon" i wanted to try out Le Parker Meridien and see what this hype is all about.

The drinks by the pool side are absolutely delicious && so is the food. You cannot go wrong with anything you get.
